When Vital was asked to create a model Formula E car to display at the Shanghai International motor show, It became obvious that the project was not straightforward. The data for the vehicle was closely guarded by the FIA and access to the actual vehicles were limited.
Without available data, Vital used photographic documentation to design A-surface data and create a model that appeared identical to the real thing. By employing rapid prototyping technologies, Vital achieved success and improved efficiency in creating the Formula E show car. This streamlined manufacturing and design process led to a higher-quality end product that met Nio's specifications.
