Prototype and Manufacture

VITAL collaborates closely with OEM and independent businesses, offering assistance in design model operations. Our goal is to provide comprehensive support for the swift turnaround of design models, clay models, and vision models that incorporate fully functional features, resulting in show vehicles that are indistinguishable from production vehicles.

We leverage our state-of-the-art facilities, including 25 large format 3D printers (SLA, SLS, and FDM technology) as well as 5-axis CNC milling machines (6M x 2.4M x 2.8M). Additionally, we take advantage of our ISO 7 level clean room for electronics assembly and a dedicated paint facility equipped with two spray booths and a mixing room.

With a total of four studio units in Coventry, Vital handles a wide range of manufacturing processes, such as paint, surfacing, clay work, fabrication, and build space. We are proud to support independent and start-up businesses by assisting them in establishing NPD plans, setting quality standards, and managing full development multi-vehicle programs to ensure a smooth transition to production. Our build-bay studio is specifically designed to facilitate productionisation programs.

Vital provide support for tooling and fixtures across various hybrid manufacturing methods. Our capabilities include CMM inspection using both laser and CNC technology, as well as efficient assembly processes, ensuring the accurate and seamless realization of your automotive vision.
